149th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction Festivities

Auction in 2007.

The 149th edition of the sale of wines of the Hospices de Beaune will be held this Sunday 15th November.

This event is considered the largest charity sale of wine in the world.

 

For the fifth year, Christie's is in charge of the auctioneers.

During the festival under the banner of the discovery of Burgundy wines, professionals and individuals can taste wines the 42 "cuvées" of this prestigious domain. (Those are designated by the name of the wine or village and of the donor.)

 


2009 wine tasting's program to the Marché aux Vins

One of the oldest traditions of Burgundy, the auction of wines from Hospices de Beaune will be held this year on 15 and 16 November.

 

On this occasion, the Marché aux Vins organizes this weekend, a unique tasting.

 

It includes a range of great wines of our estate and wines of the Hospices de Beaune with very old vintages.
