148th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction Festivities

The Marché aux Vins: Exeptional wine tasting during the auction in 2007.

The 148th edition of the sale of wines of the Hospices de Beaune will be held this Sunday 16th November.

This event is considered the largest charity sale of wine in the world.

 

For the fourth year, Christie's is in charge of the auctioneers.

During the festival under the banner of the discovery of Burgundy wines, professionals and individuals can taste wines the 42 "cuvées" of this prestigious domain. (Those are designated by the name of the wine or village and of the donor.)

 


2007 program at the Marché aux Vins

On this occasion, the best cellars of the city are presenting the finest wines of Cotes d'Or and the Marché aux Vins offers an unique range of wine ready to drink including very old vintages of the Hospices de Beaune during the entire weekend.
